Working on a task
The are few things things to consider when working on a task
Changing ticket status
1) You must always update the status of your task you are working on by clicking on the relevant status button on the top of the task view.
Assigning yourself to a task
- To assign yourself to a task simply click on the ‘Assign to me’ link under ‘People’
Editing or Providing Estimates
1) Click on ‘Edit’ at the top of the issue screen
2) Enter in the estimated time you need to complete work on this ticket in ‘Edit Issue’ popup. You do not have to fill in the ‘Remaining estimate’ field.
Logging time on a ticket
1) Select ‘Track time’ button at the top right side of the screen
If you are logging time for the first time you need to fill connect your account with Harvest.

2) Select the ‘Project’ and ‘Task’ from the drop down option and add in your notes and then log your hours in the ‘Hours’ field in the windows popup.

3)To view our full day’s time log click on the ‘My timesheet’ link at the top of the Harvest time tracker. This will open a new tab and open harvest.
Note: The note is usually prefilled with the task link and the name of the ticket. Please only remove the name but leave the link, the link is shown highlighted in the screenshot above. |

Creating and linking a new task
1) Click the ‘Create’ button from the top menu and complete the fields in the windows pop.
2) If you want to link issues simply select the task you want link it with and from the ‘Linked issues’ option.
